Hi,

Is there anyone out there who would be willing to do some testing for me? The route is finished and had been thoughly tested, but I need someone else to make sure the installation proceedures work before I upload them. If you're intertesed can you drop me a PM or an email.

Cheers

Charles

Uploaded pending approval.

Can I just say a big thank you to all have contributed scenery, stock, advice, photos and local knowledge. And a special vote of thanks go to Kieran, Geoff and Mike who did a stirling job with beta testing and provided many useful comments and feed back.

Various scenery items from the route are being uploaded for other route builders to uses and a stock and activity pack should appear sometime with perhaps a dozen or so acts.

Charles

Magic words indeed! :D So what have you got planned next Charles?

Seriously, well done. From the screenshots the route looks great and I look forward to trying it for real.

Well, there's the activity pack to finish, but then I think I'm retiring from route building. Although, I might be persuaded to help out other folk with their own projects.

Hi Charles,
Thank you for this route - it has a great 'feel' about it. :) I have completed the supplied activity and there appear to be plenty of opportunities for activity writers (unfortunately, I am not one!). Bedford Midland station looks very good, and I was pleased to see the 'blimp' sheds at Cardington - I remember seeing them when travelling from Derby to St Pancras on the Midland mainline.

There is only one comment I would make, and I hope it's not taken as 'nit-picking', but there is no 'Right-Away' signal for departing a station. Of course, it is easily corrected by adding an appropriate "Discrete_Trigger ( 60 ...... )" line into the ingame.sms file, in the route's SOUND folder.

Cheers,
Ged

Hi Ged and Malcom,
Ged:
I have completed the supplied act. As you have. You did not mention this. So this may be my system only.

I have a giant Signal Lens at Shefford:-

I have seen this mentioned on the forums before, but have forgoten the answers.

Charles:
You have had the route tested I know. So this may well be unique to my System. As it is a pretty big thing for a tester to miss.

Fantastic effort though. Ged put it best. It just feels right.

Good luck
Doug

Its just me then and just this Route so I will leave well alone. Thanks

You may remember we had an exchange regarding my "New" card a Raedon 9250 AGP256MB, 128Bit, DDR, VGA on a Pentium 4 30GHz System running XP with 2Gig Ram.

Good luck
