I won't be able to download the route, my dongle times me out long before it is finished :( Pity it wasn't available in smaller chunks as a spanned zip

All installed and working.
I am really impressed with the Urban scenery it fits together well.

Great effort. Though I have now got to obtain suitable stock. 8)

Cheers Doug, I loved doing the urban areas, especially scenerising around Derek's station models on the inner part of the Cathcart Circle. Was worth the pain and crashes in the end!

EDIT: Also glad to hear that markh5682 is now sorted. :D

I have installed a download manager which will allow you to resume downloading a half downloaded file again, and I finally managed to get the route :)

I am really impressed with it, the scenery and new stations are all excellent, a massive improvement over version 2, and definitely a must have route :D

Thanks Niall for putting up with me till I got it sorted. :D
Regards
Mark.

Answered it on the last page.

Hi bGriff??
Posted earlier in the thread.

Just to note the route file size (packaged) is about 240mb, it will be uploaded as a single installer file (and you can change the location it's installed to).

Well, route seems to be going ok, acts well rec'd and it's time I took a well-earned break. I've been practically on this forum all week since release and with no major problems on the route reported, it's the sign that all is ok and I can leave UKTS be for a bit.

Over the coming weeks I'm going to be away enjoying a break and then will be concentrating all efforts on a project I'm involved with at work.

I'll only be popping in occasionally so if anyone has any issues about the routes and acts, please ask your questions on the forums -- there are a lot of knowledgable people on here who will no doubt help. If you PM me, please note it may be a while before I reply.

The only issue at the moment seems to be an EH2, which boils down (imo) to a default.wag file. I've got some more acts ready to go, when I get back home I'll upload them.

Have fun with the route, I know I did!

Niall

Just ran the route for the first time, and I have to say, what another great addition to MSTS! Well done to Niall for putting the new scenery in and Derek for the excellent station and other models in the route :D . Its really good to see these old routes revamped and to see the fantastic results of peoples work.

Thanks. As we've seen with this and the new wip Scottish Central route, it is possible to take an older route and develop it further. I just hope it inspires more people to do the same and a quick browse of the download library shows there are routes out there which would make ideal candidates!

Yes, total letdown. Go sit in the naughty corner!

You can redeem yourself by writing an act or two!
