New Route Worries

I've been trying to conquer route editor for a little while now, and been working on a 'new route' for a couple of months. What worries me is that it seems to be going quite well so far, what on earth can be just round the corner?

Well, judging from other peoples experiences, if you don't have a good backup policy, you risk losing the lot - if you do, keep at it. :D
