I'm new to MSTS and I don't know whether any tram routes have been built. Has anyone considered doing this old tramway? Geoff Price produced a wonderful nostalgic book about the tramway. Looking at the pictures, I would have thought how terrific it would look in MSTS. There are some fantastic pictures on this website
http://www.dewi.ca/trains/lcber/index.html Also the Great Orme railway still operates in Llandudno. I hope someone with a skill for designing produces these tramways oneday.

Some sections might be a bit steep. Also it's not going to be the most interesting route is it - two cable pulled (a new traction method there) tram cars, one running from the bottom up to the swap over point and then another from the swap over point to the top.

Yes the pub is quite nice i seem to recall!

I didnt think a great deal of the tramway

.. As John said it is limited as to what you could do on it. Especially as the 2 sections would have to be different railways wouldnt they?
Would track go up that steepley? MSTS doesnt like going up hills and even then youd have trouble with adhesion!

I remember this route. Whether some sections are two steep, should not deter anyone producing it. Just make them shalloower, the route and scenery was fantastic and would make up for any shortfall. Come on you expert designers-have a go!

In fairness to Nigel I think there may be some confusion here between the Great Orme Tramway (still open) and the Llandudno and Colwyn Bay tramway, which was a 'proper' tramway and which closed in 1956. Pictures can be found at
