ok, i dont wanna try and run before i can walk, so i need to cut my teeth on a few routes before i go for the big one. Although i have most of the resources i need for it.

Are there any good places to find Route Schematics of lines in the UK?

Im quite interested in doing small local routes, but i think even that would be a challenge as i live between Reading and Paddington on the Great Western Railway. Maybe lines or routes that origionate from the Marylebone Terminus. They dont tend to be to complex and head out to small villages and towns in a north-westerly direction from London. Also its not a very large line, 1 up 1 down i think.

Things like junction layouts are what im after.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Here's a sample of the Southern Zone books...you'll need that for your CT route.
