Mixing two Route Files
Hi, I was wondering whether there was a way to mix two route files. I would like to put Fairly up to date England, Eurotunnel and an assortment of German and French routes I have on one "route" so I can Drive the eurostar from Manchester for instance. Is it possible? Do I need any extra software?

Route Riter can do it, but its next to impossible.
The 2 routes would have to line up pretty close together, plus knowing how unstable the track database can get, it would certainly kill the route.

Oh
That unfortunate... Maybe a long term project
Is it possible to load two pre-existing routes into route riter?

I wouldn't say it's next to impossible at all, it's only going to get complicated if you have overlapping world tiles which have different content, beyond that, if the routes are positioned correctly then it's a matter of just joining up the track and adding scenery along the extra track.
If you have world tiles that overlap then you'll have to deal with merging those tiles that yourself, in order to keep the objects from both versions, but it is definitely doable (I've done it myself using Route_Riter and it didn't require that much work on my part)

A number of people have done this sucessfully. Here's a general guide:

If you find some of the guide difficult to understand, that is to say you are not intimately familiar with the way that MSTS is wired together (especially from a Route Editor standpoint), you're not ready to attempt this yet...
