G'day all,

I have had MSTS for about five years now, but have been playing Aurans' Trainz more than what I play MSTS, and now I want to be able to make routes for MSTS. But the question is, how?
For me the whole thing looks a bit hard.
Can someone please tell me the basics (tracklaying, placing scenery objects, etc)?

I would suggest you check out the tutorials pages at steam4me.

If you are serious about route building then you should then consider Michael Vone’s routebuilders manual.

Moved to the Route Building forum for greater exposure and hopefully more replies.

Even a read of what Microsoft (MS) supplied is a start, it at least will get you going, then decide on whether to spend your money on Michael Vone's Manual, it is very good at explaining those things that MS's 'Editor & Tools Help' doesn't .
