Electrified track, Overhead wires and Gantries

Post by tender »

Hi, I was just wondering if it was possible to have half a route with overhead wires and the rest of it third rail, also how do you prevent gantries from being along track in certain areas? :)

Remove them or don't add them in the first place :)

Re: the overhead wires question, I'd suggest having a read of http://steam4me.railpage.org.au/trainsi ... ewire.html as a possible way to remove the overhead wires from the areas that you don't want to use them in.

Hope this helps :)
