textures

The MSTS 1 Route Editor can be a beast to use, but it's capable of some amazing results, here you can talk with the wizards that are building some of the fantastic routes available and learn how to make your own.

Simply copy these textures from the Terrex folder in the default routes directory to your route terrex folder.

Hi Daniel,

While in the Route-Editor, click on the Windows menu and select 'Texture Selector' This will have from 1 to 9 squares on it with various textures in them. If the texture you require is not there, use the menu to add textures to the Selector.

Once you find the correct texture, say it is number 3, then press F7, your route will then be covered in squares, select one of the squares (its border turns red) and press 3, the texture will then appear in that square.

If you are serious about route building, go to the Abacus site and download Michael Vone's 'Step by Step Guide to Route Building' where everything is revealed, it costs $15 and really without it, you will be on here asking questions for years to come :D

I'm not arguing (just explaining why I'm right).
