Dynamic Track Viaducts

Post by richard222 »

I am looking to build a 300+m viaduct between two hills but I have hit a problem... The first bit of dynamic track goes into the middle but I cannot place anything else on the end of the track as it places itself in the valley below.... What Can I do

Hi Richard

Try this:

In RE, save your route, then select the dynamic track section hanging in free air

Hit Y to bring the terrain up to the track (Don't panic yet!)

Add on the next piece of track

Hit the key on your keyboard to the left of the 1 key that's marked with a backward quote ` and a vertical bar and a funny symbol (above the Tab key)...

All of the terrain changes will be undone.....leaving your new track section in mid air!

Hi Richard

Is this the first route you've built? You may find this useful.

Also, it will help to familarise yourself with all the shortcut keys in the RE. You can view them in the help file (F1).
