'Chunnel' tunnel rail link

I am wondering if there is anyone who could help me in any way to build this route (the CTRL).

I will make it from St Pancras to Ashford Int, but may consider extending it to Folkestone and even to France. Currently, there is an add on called 'Ashford to Lille' and a route called the 'tunnel'. In my opinion the scenery on the 'tunnel' could be better. The only disadvantage of extending the route into France is that resources are harder to get hold of.

Is there a chance for later extensions such as to Canterbury and Ramsgate. How do EB 'join' routes in parts - maybe I could implement this.

I am planning to actually start making the route in August, but information, resources and 3d models could be collected well before (if I have time). I am planning to make the route detailed as possible, but not too much for lower end users.

Thanks

Chandramohan

Sounds like an excellent idea, but I thought someone was already doing a CTRL route?

Lucazone started it with i think some intervention from EB, but theres no indication thats its happening on the EB site, possibly as LZ is now with Kuju?? But exactly what happend to it, im not sure.

Also Frank Thomas did a fictiuos route to do with the link.Which is somewhere on here

The Tunnel - Ashford to Lille

"What I have produced, is a working trackwork, that you can drive a train from Ashford to Lille, and take either the Direct Fast route, or go round the Towns, (Slow Routes). It is for the experimenter to develop further, and devise their own use of trains, rolling stock, and time tables.

By opening the Activities in the Editor, you can trace all the routes to find out where they go.
Note I have put in a reverser at Folkstone, to enable returning to Ashford, if you want to.

I’ve enjoyed the challenge over the months creating the railway, any comments would be appreciated.

By purchasing "Add-On's" or downloading from the site for extra European Trains etc. you can make it better.

The included activities only use default stock in order to make it easy to get up and running - the downloader is encouraged to download suitable replacements such as the Eurostar set from ChrisTrains (Available from here), Ian Morgan's 'Le Shuttle' (Available fom here) and numerous french add-ons available from other sites such as TGV's"

I believe Adam (or Luz) intended to publish his version of the CTRL via Kuji but whether that is still happening is anyones guess. Would be a great shame if the route went to waste as a varst amount of time and money went into it.
