Absolutely fantastic! :D

Are you considering extending down to Salisbury and Exeter St. Davids? :)
Maybe in V5, although Exeter is a long way, much of it single track, so limited appeal for activity writers.

The Worting-Salisbury-Redbridge/Eastleigh triangle is a more realistic goal for V5, together with the Guildford-Portsmouth-St.Denys/Eastleigh triangle, but lets get V4 finished first!!

Dave
:)

I can't wait to download it!

wow this is soo cool, i can't wait to get this new version when it comes out so i can drive from waterloo to guildford and back again via epsom and cobham it is a shame that the route doesn't go as far as dorking tho then i would be in my element, but i can wait unit version 5  :D it still means i can run my local route of guildford waterloo via epsom tho that i have been trying to make my self for god only knows how long, but because of my computer crashing i lost everything and it took so long for me to make i lost interest in making it and just never got round to attempt it again after that so can't wait to get it i already have loads of activities planned for it :D

Peter,

I sent the TM4 CD's to Peter at UKTS last week, but there is a long way to go. I have still got people writing activities for TM4, but to give Peter a head start testing the some 140 activities so far, I sent it in advance of all the activities being completed.

I have written at least 10 new activities myself for TM, focusing on the less popular areas of the route, but I will be concentrating on DC4 for the immediate future, with odd trips back to TM to fix any problems that Peter finds in his testing.

To answer your original question, I am aiming to have the DC4 upgrade done by Christmas, but realistically it may be early in the new year as my wife has got me decorating now!!

Seeing as there's the bin patch, I'm guessing Victoria, South Central, Portsmouth, Chichester etc will be in it now...

Carl,

It will be a download at this stage, because as I have indicated there will probably be a V5, so no point in doing yet another CD until the route is completely finished.

Yeah, especially when all the v3 activities will be compatible with v4 anyway.

i cannot believe it!!

Dave, you are a great person with much courage and motivation. Many of us gazed in awe at the Dorset Coast V1 and were amazed. We are forever grateful that you have expanded upon what you have already created and have almost done the entire SWT network for us!!

I am really impressed that you work so quickly, you are so accurate and you make the whole lines and include areas never explored before. I am totally looking forward to this and wish you the best in this route and will be hopefully amongst the first to download and run it... Although saying that i wouldn't be surprised to see the whole forum and more downloading it at the second of release!!

You are a great achiever!!

Thank you for all your effort!
