I wanted to add in some very tight curves to stamp out a river bed, so I loaded in the asections from stracks, but despite making sure that I have the latest Tsection.dat, I cannot get any of the sections to show up in the placements list for track sections. They aren't listed at all in the drop-down list, but they are shown in the Tsection file.
The UKFinescale sections are all selectable, and the Xtracks sections (I ended up using the tram curves and some a1t120d5's which got me a passable river bed).
I tried using Horace to see if it would adjust anything for me, but no joy.
Any ideas?
How do I get Stracks to show up in the track sections list?

My first guess is that the S-tracks sections are not included in the tsection.dat you have installed. I don't knw much about S-tracks, so it's possible that it needs a specialist tsection and doesn't conform to the standardised tsection project.
I'm not totally clear on whether you actually need railway track for this item, or whether you're just using tracksections as placeholders to define the river bed and removing them after terrain setting. If it's the latter, you could try using road sections instead - they have some fairly tight curves.

I checked to make sure that the sections are indeed in the T-section file, and followed the install instructions to get them into the folder together with all the other track pieces. I was hoping there was some magic tweak to make them visible to the RE drop-down list.
As far as using road sections, you are absolutely right, they would make the basic formation, but I have a cunning plan...
