Actually no, this is the right forum as this is for route building which it sounds like Rehcab2006 is doing.

I have no idea about your question unfortunatley but I just thought I'd point this out.

Cheers

It depends on whether the underground line will be sub surface or deep level.

If you are just starting a line, find a place that is in the open, or a cutting along the route (for my route I started at Barbican - which is in a cutting) then build from that point. In order to build underground, press "W" in route editor to produce the wireframe mode - this aloows you to see under the terrain for track placement.

For deep level lines you can also press "/" key which allows you also to zoom beneath the terrain as well - useful for getting junctions right, and for placing scenery underground later.

Why work under ground/terrain when you can build your subway route above ground

I learnt this years ago when I built my MP3K route with a 12 mile tunnel through a half mile high mountain in the Rockies, go into your RE and place a 500 meter ordinary piece of track and point it in the direction you wish to run your route, now drag it below the terrain to the depth you want, (if you hit the forward slash (/) key you can take your camera below the terrain) when its in place hit your “Yâ€
