Signal Building?

The MSTS 1 Route Editor can be a beast to use, but it's capable of some amazing results, here you can talk with the wizards that are building some of the fantastic routes available and learn how to make your own.

Signal Building?

Post by Rehcab2006 »

During the contruction of my free-lanced train-sim, I could not ( and still can't ) find prototype signals for my route. But reading these forms, i have heard and read of people building there on signals for train-sim. Long story short, does know how to make signals in TSM for Train-sim? Anything would be helpful.

Plus, in some cases there are patches.

If you require kits for the North American scene then go to http://www.train-sim.com

A Question

Post by chandramohan »

Does the southern semaphore file cover the time af around 1887-1947?
Also, are there distant signals?

Thanks

Upper quadrant signals were not introduced until after 1927, so if you were to build a route set in 1923 (grouping), or before, you would have to use lower quadrant signals (LSWR kit for example). For the post-1927 period it would be correct to use both upper and lower quadrants, with only the one type being used at any given location. These two kits are correct for use on the Western Division of the Southern and compliment each other, but I did not cover the other constituent companies that ran in the south eastern counties.

Your second question is puzzling, a click on the information button gives you an enlarged copy of the accompanying illustration to the file, and will answer your question. I am hardly likely to have left them out, there would have been plenty of comment on the forums by now as these kits have been available for a couple of years.
