Hello
Well for the last couple of months I have been playing round trying to model some terrain for the Route that I would like to Build.
I am wondering which method is the best method for creating terrain.
Is it TSTF, which I have been trying to use for the last couple of months, ( The problem that I am having is that I get a lot of odd lines at strange heights, no matter how much Interplating I do )..
Or is the TStools the way to go, I've not really used the Demo Copy of TStools that much but the process seems the same. The last option is to use DEMEX to create my terrain..
So out of the above options which one will give me the result I am after without pulling all of my hair out..
Any advice would be great..
Thanks
Martyn

My personal preference is TSTF whcih I used to model the Talyllyn route.
My tip for Interpolating is to read the Tutorial, try terraforming the exact same area as in the tutorial and then have a go on your own.
Worked for me - I could not get on with TSTools and DEm data is not accurate enough for UK terrain IMHO

And the other side of the coin, My own opinion is that i prefer to use Tstools, it takes a little time to grasp how to use it to it's full potential but it does work well once you get the hang of it.
Have only briefly tried TSTF so i have no comparison really, but I currently took only about a week to get used to Tstools, then it took a week to draw 33 miles of contours, about 28 Hours in total.
only just realised how long I have worked on my current route, sorry.
