Will that stock come with the CD? Are there activities ready for V3?

The route looks great, can't wait to get my hands on it (again).

Great work Dave!

James,

The only thing I need to get permission for is the blue 4 SUB, which I reskinned myself, but everything else in the screenies is on the CD.

We cannot start writing activities for V3 yet because of the route moving problem.

Correction:the 444 on the first set of screenies is also a private reskin, which will never appear on the CD.

Dave

The route is essentially complete, scenery and all, adding Basingstoke to Reading and Basingstoke to Waterloo to what is on version 2.

I am having a problem moving V3 with Route Riter to avoid the Brockenhurst whiteout - this worked flawlessly on V1 and V2. I am liaising with Mike Simpson directly to try and get this sorted.

I have distributed the route to the Dorset CD team so that the lads can do a bit of testing. So it is very close.

Assuming that Mike can work out what the problem is in moving the route, I would hope to be uploading within a couple of weeks.

Dave

Hi Dave,

I got a mail from Mike concerning your move-problem. I already send a detailed message back to him, which described all problems i could see.

But the main problem is: FIRST move the route and THEN replace dynamic tracks with static definitions (Dyntrax)
(Dyntrax is not supported within TSUtil until version 3.3 Current:3.2.155)

Hi,

TSUtil-move also moves activities, which are installed in the appropriate directory.
So , WRITING activities does NOT depend on the success of the move-function.

Then why on E-rail is it said the London to southamtopn update has stopped until for the forseeable future, as they wanted to get on with the other projects and it will still be available for download upto v1.1 which it the unscenerised version (Except southampton)

Dorset v3 has already supercieded, L2S, with v3 running from Reading/Waterloo-Southampton and Weymouth.

Hi all,

Saying this on behalf of myself being a tester....

Dorset V3 is fab. The line from Basingstoke to Waterloo and Basingstoke to Southampton is fantastic. It is done in so much detail it is great. The really busy ares like Clapham and Battersea are great, although we have a prob at the mo about getting past an area we can see either side of it. The framerates do drop in these area's but i do contain a good 12fps and overall about an average of 24fps so runs very smooth indeed. Waterloo is represented very well and tiles for Battersea and Clapham are really full, Battersea especially is very very full indeed. All the new stations are fantastic and believe me this really will be worth the wait.

Im off to continue my testing. If Dave allows i will post some shots of my trecks :D

Regards

James
