Hi Paul,

Just to clarify a few points.

Preparatory work has now begun on Shepherds Bush station and its location is approximately (51.5085/-0.2303) though I cannot work out exactly where it is using Multi-map.com

The changeover point from AC to DC traction on the line is at North Pole Junction. More precisely on the Mitre Road bridge (51.5211/-0.2286), though the wires actually continue south for a further half mile.

Line speed is 70 mph for most of it except for the Willesden Area (20 mph) and Latchmere to Clapham (15 mph)

NO WORK has yet started on Imperial Wharf.

Alas, I have no photo's of the area.

Hope the route isn't too stressful

Regards
Martin

Hi !

The photos are too old, I've deleted from internet some weeks ago. i'll upload newer as soon as possible.

Concerning the changeover point from AC to DC traction, there is no 3rd rail north of this point?

Thanks for all the infos.

Here's a few screenshots, taken during the enginnering works...
The tracks is laid from Clapham jnc to north of Kensington Olympia.
Scenery is beginning to be put on some parts, as stations.

here's clapham. The sidings are only part build, and some tracks will be relaid.

As you could see, the line is far fom being finished, but it progress slowly. I'll try to post regularely screenshots.

Another thing ; I'm looking for this kind of platform (left on the photo). Do you know where I could find it?

Thanks

File ID : 1110

Might be some in there if not ask EB for permission to using the stilted platforms off ECE.

No there isn't any 3rd Rail north of the changeover point.
And the LU sidings are Lillie Bridge Engineers Depot

Hi

the line is progressing slowly, but it goes forward! :-)
I've made a blog to put updates on it. You can find it at:
http://westlondonline.blogspot.com/
It's not yet finished, but you'll find essential informations about the work, and progress screenshots.
And comments are welcomed!

Your making good progress Popol,

I'm really interested in this route as it is pretty much my local line, West Brompton is only 5 mins up the road from me.

Cheers,
