Level Crossings

Post by WSR2005 »

I'm not sure whether this should be in this forum of the stock creation forum - but anyway.

Is there a level crossing without gates that I can use/download? The railway I am going to build has level crossings with no gates or warning bells.

The easiest thing would be to place a normal crossing and drop the level crossing gates so that they are below the ground. Try this for the signs and bases (I assume you'll want them)

Thanks

Does this method stop the cars from crossing the track?

Quite right - I have a small tram route I've made which is full of "invisible" crossings.

As above, place a crossing, right click on it, and somewhere in the properties there is a box along the lines of 'This crossing is not visible'

You still get the bells and the cars stop, but you do not see anything.

I'm not arguing (just explaining why I'm right).
