Simple Route

I'm planning on building a simple route, on one tile if possible, like the timesaver route, simply so i can get my head around how it works, although i can only edit existing routes i have, which are all alot bigger than one tile large.

Is there anyway to start a new route without editing an existing one, with custom options?

You must set up a new route in Route Geometry Extractor. But before that you should follow the usual advice and buy Michael Vone's Route Building Guide - available on line from Abacus.
