Re: shakespeare express?
There is a big difference between suggesting a route and someone making it! If only it was that easykirkheath wrote:

I'd second the fact that that is certainly a great new suggestion

That's correct, but strictly speaking, when the SMJ route was open, Stratford uA had TWO stations. Stratford uA station which still exists and is now the terminus for the former GWR North Warwickshire line that runs from Tyseley. This line used to run beyond SuA through Honeybourne and met up with the GWR route from Cheltenham to Gloucester or in the other direction - Oxford!BR7MT wrote:Trans-Siberian anybody?![]()
I think something to Stratford Upon Avon has been done by Vern as part of the SMJ route (worth downloading anyway).

Dan
Stratford uA Old Town which was the SMJ station was situated a short distance from the centre of the town and the line ran out to Broom Junction where it met the Midland Railway loop line that ran from Barnt Green to Ashchurch.
The Shakespeare Express runs down the North Warwicks Line, and AFAIK this route hasn't been done... yet!
In answer to your question Spartacus, the SMJ route USED to be available as a download from this site, but it seems to have disappeared from the download area and now it seems to be only available on a CD which can be ordered from http://www.trainsim.org.uk/mtsroutes.html for £4.
