I am building an S&D based layout in finescale which is going well. I have taken full advantage of Paul Spicers superb uploads but have had no luck finding a model of the Bath coaling plant. If anyone can point me in any direction please let me know. I have tried running a Forum Search without any luck.

You might have to make your own.
If you plan on doing this route on 0 cost then I suggest getting the gMax 3D modelling program (see the gMax forum further down the main menu).
Best regards

Thank's Dan
That's what I was afraid of. I have already downloaded gmax and also the
MSTS game pack and bought the gmax bible from amazon. With over 800 pages it is not a light read but I will either learn to make brilliant models or at least end up with a good door stop!!!

I have a model of the coaling shed if you're interested, but it's the latter stone built one. I sometimes use Gmax but find TSM much simplier, so I use that one mostly. Which era are you basing the route on? mine is so far exact to the summer of 1964, I've got as far as bath to kelston, evercreech to pylle and evercreech to templecombe. I'm quite chuffed how accurate it is so far, masbury summit even worked out at 811 ft above sea level in msts as in reality. But be warned I would'nt advise using MSTS markers as they are well inaccurate, especially as the route is laid north-south, you will find as you get to templecombe there will be no room left for it. Anyway good luck!

Hi Coltrane,
Thanks for the offer of the coaling stage it is an offer I can't refuse.....
how do you ship it though as I don't want to put my e-mail address on the forum? With regard to my layout it is not set in any particular time but is, or will be just a representation for watching trains going by. It is a vertical learning curve for me though, I have DEMned the terrain which looks ok. I have used MSTS markers taking references from Streetmap which shows the S&D as a dismantled railway and they have all have turned up from Bath to Bournemouth although the line has only reached Wellow at this stage.
