island of sodor , thomas the tank engine land

The MSTS 1 Route Editor can be a beast to use, but it's capable of some amazing results, here you can talk with the wizards that are building some of the fantastic routes available and learn how to make your own.

Nope, nothing new. Sodor is going at a slower rate of progress for 2 reasons:

1. School, i'm having my 3rd year exams at this moment
2. The Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway donationware c.d

I'll let you off on the exam front.

I have high standards for this project, I still get my fix of Thomas every weekday at half 2 even though I'm 22. :o (Isn't working from home fun)

hey guys! im a 16 year old from kidderminster, called chris!
ive got a few thing i want to say about this guy Jonathon:

1)well done mate! ou've stuck to it and you seem to be doing a pretty damn good job of it aswell! im a massive ttte fan, and glad that someone is finally succeeding at the Sodor route. i also guess that a "thankyou" is in order!

2)big up to the people who are helping Jonathon in anyway possible! ive had trainsim now for, ooh, pretty much since it came out! and ive never got m MSTS route thingymajig working, probably because (quite unusually for a teenager! lol) im not that great with computers! so, to see all these people who have the MSTS Modeller and the route whatcahmacallit working just fills me with admiration!

3) to anyone who ever shunned, doubted or mocked Jonathon (on page 5 of this forum is a perfect example) i got one thing to say to you: :P losers!

so, jonathon! good luck and i can guarantee that when you get the route finished, i will be one of those clambering to get it! i promise younow, you have atleast one downloader: me!

bye bye now!
Chris

it's postponed at the moment due to the B&KR donationware pack, and family issues.

But hopefully it might be resumed in one of the new simulators

Yes, but The Bo'ness And Kinneil Railway is much more important the Sodor, so Sodor had to be sidelined

I'll give it a go

Post by fadedknight »

My son would love something even vaguly similar. I'd be happy to give it a go. I've been part of the pinball simulation scene for a while, a very dodgty area copywrite wise, but unless there is money to be made, sometimes people turn a blind eye.

Worth a punt - even if it just gets to a cease and desist letter. If we got their attention, they might do something helpful.

Cheers
