But there is no financial gain here,so why would Hit entertainment get funny over copyright.
Anyway I cant see TTE land being built and think the last eight pages has been a waste of time.
With due respect

Tell that to the models we've had up on UKTS since 2002. No law suits yet, mate.
Plus if this is something for mere private use (or just not being sold for money), I don't think there's much harm to be done. If HIT Entertainment comes knocking saying "Hey, we don't want you to do that" then we'll just not upload it. Simple as that.
Besides have you even checked out those "woolsworth" PC games? They're nothing compared to what could be done in MSTS. Those games could be swapped out with Dora the Explorer games and there'd be no noticeable difference
(Btw, nice to see you again David

Hope you're having a merry christmas!)

Agreed Evan, theres quite a fair bit on UKTS, and as yet nothing has been said by HIT, Gullaine or whoever the heck own it all now.
The games in Woolies are simply 'solve this puzzle to gain a sweety' style antics - from a number of places i've seen MSTS demoed, theres been a lot of children ( and adults! ) who want to actually drive Thomas, rather than play these simplistic games.
Oh, and a Merry Christmas to yourself, Evan

JonathonAG wrote:I have a great idea, how about someone makes a route that looks like the island of sordor, but just changes the names of everything so it relates nout to thomas, just the actual route and buildings, but the names of stations, towns etc.... relate to thomas in no way what-so-ever
That would mean that there would be no breach of copyright

( hopefully )
Please send me some pics and videos, and your link to your Sodor Route website.
