Hi All
Well to sort out any confusion i'm now going to tell you all about the route
Version1: version is out to testers only or people who want to tryout my route (i've already got one, thanks)
version1.5: i've called it 1.5 because this version willbe open to anyone. I've enquired about having the route on a disk via this website, and got a positive response.
When the route is finished, it will hopefuly be avilale via disk on this website.
version 1 ( the version i'm only giving to testers) Goes to North of Exeter-Totnes the towns, do not include lots of building (at the moment on version 1) But versoin 1 does include very good track scenery, landscape modleing and aurthentic positioning.
The stations include all from Exeter-Totnes:
-Exeter St Davids
-Exeter st Thomas
-Starcross
-Dawlish Warren
-Dawlish
-teingmouth
-Newton Abbot
-Totnes
Version1.5 should include all stations to Plymouth ( Iveybrude and plymouth)
So you shloud see my disk avilible from this site in a mounth or around 3 weeks.
Many Thanks
Richard Lowe

Just a thought, as you have set it in the late 80's have you thought of having 1 or some of the Western Region GWR 150 special trains running (didn't 1 take a castle and hall to the west country), we may not be able to r-run that (the MSTS castle is poor and my hall is still in thr works) but we could have a Manor and 43XX mogul to the west country.

Don't worry Eddie, when the route comes out I'm sure there will be some GW preservation steam runs along it. And some freight gala days...

HI
Very intrseting you asked! , about a presevation railway. There are plenty around the area that my route is based at.The Kingswhere-paington and Totnes- Buckfastliegh.
I did think of including them in my route but i haven't travelled on them enough ( only about 5 times) so i dont have scenery knowlage of the area.
There is no Preserved Railway in version 1.0 but i may include the Buckfastliegh line in version 1.5 or later.
So Thanks For mensioning it though
Many Thanks
Richard

Are you a premium subscriber - if so use the "atomic album" link at the top of the screen.

Otherwise you have to upload to your webspace and use HTML codes to include the image in the message like this

Hi all.

DATES HAVE BEEN SET FOR VERSION 1.5:-

- I have just sent my first batch of version 1.0 in the post to my first few custermers. This version is only out to testers, and the latr version will be open to anyone how want to obtain the route ( via uktrainsim )
But if anyone want to have a view or run of the first verion you can just contact me on montylowe1@aol.com .

- I have already started on version 1.5, i have added scenery roumd Exeter, and terrain leval have been made more to fit the surrounding area. Hopefully the 30 mile scenery rich route will be out in 7 weeks !
A short time considering that the first version took around 2 months. Which means that it will, all being well be avible at uktainsim in 7 weeks
Many Thanks

Hi all ... I am yet another developer of a GWR route from Exter to Plymouth. Mine took quite a long time as I developed a marker file with entries every 2 kilometers to accurately lay the track. Its not complete even now - still more scenery needed, but all stations are there (including the now defunct Plympton from which a small branch to Shaugh started.

About 10 weeks, but.... I have incorporated what I have so far into GWR2 which looks like this: I cant predict when the inaugural run from Paddington to Penzance will be, but probably in the Fall.
