Many thanks Richard Lowe
P.S the reason i'm asking you all is that i want to compress my GWR route, and i need to know how and files things properly ready to upload, so....i need to get my 850MG route to around 25-30.

I would suggest the first step is to use Route Riter,on it.Then maybe an an auto installer, wrapped in a zip file.

Hi,

If your still stuck for all the shapes and textures, there is something called comboref.zip, it basically allows you to use all the deefault buildings from all the routes, if you need it, drop me a mail on pitlyfalley@aol.com and ill mail it to you.

Upload via FTP, it works a lot better for smaller files.

Hi all
So glad yuo asked me about, why i did't upload my route.
The reaso why is it is simplay too big. I used Route Riter but it failes on me and i was left with all my files deleted. So once bitten 2nd wise, I decieded to let people obtain my route via disk.
Another thing is... I realy could be bothered with uploading he sever keeps failing and every i uloaded the action cancled dispaly paged apered. I've heard about that Slide upload facility but i think that my idea will suite me better.
Many Thanks

When can we expect the route to be finished? and as it is going out on CD you thought of selling it through thissite and getting extra locos and stock for the cd (if my trio are ready I would be only to glad to supply 1 of each or more if you require)

Hi All
Well Someone is trying the route out for me already. So the route will be 100% complete in a mounth or so. I'll see how the route goes,( if it works or not). At the moment i'm not charging anyone for mt route yet. well, for one reason i need to clean it up, ie error messages and elusive shape files that the ref files keep remainding me.
So at the moment the route is free of charge.
But, if you want to add stock to the route we can, the route is set in the late 80's so that will stand you is good sted on what to go by. Well firstly i was going to do the burning and copiny my self, but i would like to do it via this site. I need a helping hand about the installation of the route, ( at the moment you've got to install the by old fashoin filing, none of this posh self installer things like on ECML)
So yes i realy need a helping hand amd yes i'll see and find out about the route going on CD via this site.

Many Thanks
Richard Lowe

Hi Richard

Your route sounds very interesting. Can you tell me where the route will run from and to?

regards
Marc
