Hi montylowe,

It'd take me a while to prepare it for distribution, never intended to do it at such an early stage... but should be sent in a few days.

As it's my first serious attempt at making a route, I'm certain it's not a standard anyone would like to follow but well it would be freeware anyway.

...and when it comes to textures: you'll need also to add terrain textures to the texture selector window (Edit-Insert, then point to your desired .ace file from TerrTex). If you insert it but not use it, the next time you'll load the route in the RE you'll have to repeat the procedure...

You've run out of memory. Close the RE and reload the route. You should be able to delete tracks thereafter.

Ho ho, the RE bites again! You might have to leave the piece there and delete the pieces around it and just relay straight over the top. Observant downloaders of my Woodhead Route will find a (just off-centre) 10m straight just like this sat at the west end of Guide Bridge station - it doesn't form part of the route but just sits there looking like a pair of 10m rails thrown between and next to the track.

You have to make a dip in the land, and then fill it with water (or raise the water level so it fills it).

Hey, look forwards to the route! Will it be a download or on a CD? Also do you plan to put on the bodmin and wenford branch that comes Bodmin Parkway? Also the Newquay branch from Par that includes the notorious Iron bridge....there's an idea for an activity! AND...the branch to St. Blazey? Hope I've inspired you!

Well glad you aked!

Version 1 will come out in around 5 or 6 wks. This will include all stations From Exeter-Plymouth, haveing being there my self quite a few times it has some very aurthentic senery!
epceily Dawlish Warren,I will hopefully be despactching my route on to a disk and it will be come avilible my personal E-mail addres. and to get in to contact with me my internal E-mail addres is montylowe1@aol.com
Now weather i exstend my route in to Cornwall, is very likely, but not for some time. Version 1 only include the GWR none of the branch lines i.e loe line etc..

Hi all,

...actually I dreamed my GWR route would eventually reach:
- Penzance
- Fishguard
- Pembroke Dock
- Aberystwyth
- Pwllheli
- Birkenhead
...all in one  well I knew I was dreaming

Anyway, I'm approaching Reading and have never intended to create a fully authentic route, but you see it's a lot of space for improvement
