Hi,
Have just created a level crossing on which everything works correctly except that the cars on one side of the road do not stop when the gates are closed. The cars coming the other way do stop however. I have adjusted the vehicle spacing in the carspawn file to about 6 for normal cars. I have only got one type of car running as I test it ATM.
Any Ideas how to get Cars on both sides of the road to stop at the gates
Thanks and Regards
James

Make sure you have placed the 2nd gate on the correct side of the road

Hi and thanks for the reply.
Both sides have 2 gates and warning signs on either side the road and U.K. crossing sounds I am using a modern crossing. I also have the crossing base in place, until I put this on none of the cars would stop. Is this normal. Pretty new to this. I have used a working example from another route to place all the items. Maybe I have missed something ??
Thanks and Regards

You should have a yellow box over each crossing of the rail and road paths, if not then the car won't detect the rail line is crossing so carry on regardless.
Also, if they are not already, your gate pairs should be for each side of the road - not as you would think for each side of the railway line.
Finally, make sure you right-click and set up the parameters for both gate pairs, otherwise the gates will operate through passing trains.
