Post by charlierc »

What do you need for London Waterloo - Southampton Central v1.1 ? :-?

My guess is all 6 routes and UK Finescale. :D

well I've just viewed and I can't answer your question.

I suppose MSTS would be a good start, and W-S v1.0 might help too as it's a patch.

in fact, if you have v1.0 working, chances are you'll have enough to make 1.1 go.

Don't quote me on that though.

Well I tell you what I would do.....I'd download the file....and then read the readme....and then I'd do what it said.....I know this is a departure from the norm....but hell why not live a little....

Great route - I've been waiting for this for a while, so thanks folks for your hard work on getting it up and running again.

Just one problem: anyone know why my signals look like lollipops? As in:<IMG width="800" height="640" SRC="http://www.atomic-album.com/showPic.php ... terloo.JPG">

Hi like them like that, they are really good.

What, they look good. Anyways, what type of signal are you using?

http://www.mapleleaftracks.com/free.html
add this using the read me files

Should sort it out
thus giving you super duper signals from miles away

Sorry, i must have missed this one,

All you need is London - Southampton v0.9, and included in that is a requirements list. I have not used anything new so all you need is the stuff you need for v0.9. :D (i.e. ukfs and magnetic platform kits (all of them)).

The signal problem is explained in the General MSTS Discussion forum.

Part 2 of the patch has been updated to fix this fault, and is currently waiting re-approval.

Cheers

Hi
This is more of a tip....than a critism.....but its always an idea to try a fresh install yourself before uploading a file...into a unaltered copy of MSTS...on a different drive if poss.
I myself had a similar problem the other week....as I have installed the similar global light fix for locos...sent a loco to be beta tested and got the comment that the lights were too dim. Therefore I've changed the lights back to normal...as I dont suppose many will have installed this patch...(apart from Ron)
Cheers

Yes sounds like a good idea.

I think i just forgot that you didn't have to change the SigLight file to get them to work, but its all ok now (i hope  )

But as you say i will do that next time

Thanks for the tips.

This route has great potential - can't wait for the scenery to be completed right through to Waterloo... though I've already enjoyed belting up and down the line in CIGs and 66s.
