Gradient Trouble

Post by trains2 »

Hi there,

I am having a bit of trouble with RE and laying track.

When laying track it is always laid flat, and when i want to get i gradient i know i have to use the rotate button on the right to move it up and down.
Trouble is, this method doesn't give very accurate gradients, for example:

If i'm at 0 and i want to go to 1, i use the rotate button but it moves me up to 4 instead of 1. So, i cannot get a variation in how steep the gradient is, so i cannot have a shallow gradient for example.

Is there another easier way?????

Cheers

If you hold down the 'End' key while rotating, it'll move so slowly you can position to inches.
