Hi,

I am having problems obtaining the correct files for a route i am starting so it is DEMed. I am following LZ's guide in this forum and i cannot find the file i am looking for in the 'Eurasia' file on the US government file system - linked in the post.

I am looking for the terrain of the Southampton area which can be pointed out by the presence of the Isle Of Wight. If my map reading skills are correct, i believe i am looking for N50W000 - which there is no file. i have N50W001 but that covers the Weymouth area which isn't wot i'm looking for.

Please help!! :)

Thanks

Hi there!

Just checked my downloaded DEM data files folder and I find that I have no N5?W000 files so I believe the file you are looking for is N50E000 (but don't quote me on that )

Regards

Looking through my files the one with the Isle of White in it is N50W002 though Southampton is also on this file, unless your route is small, you'l want to get N51W002 aswell.
