The MSTS 1 Route Editor can be a beast to use, but it's capable of some amazing results, here you can talk with the wizards that are building some of the fantastic routes available and learn how to make your own.

Route Track Plans

Post by trains2 »

Hi all,

I'm looking to start a route (it would be my first) and i was wondering are there any track plans available anywhere as it would be a great help.

I am hoping to do the Reading - Portsmouth Harbour route but don't get too excited  coz this is my first build and at the moment im trying to get my head around how it all works.

Thanks for any help.

Quail Maps, thats for the track plans. Doa google search. You can either buy them from the site or ring up and ask where the nearest shop is to you, as I did.

You will need Book number 5 England South & London Underground, priced around £8.95 I think.

Just remember Quail maps are track plans and nothing else. They are not to scale (though do indicate mileages) and do not show detail of curves and features etc. You will need a good detailed map to use with them.
