Look through the download section of the front page for all the little bits you want.
..... I think that tells you where to look!!!! :o
Sorry, but you can't have a look at my new photo albums: http://daveheald6540.fotopic.net/ because Fotopic is no more!

My suggestion is do not use UKFS if you are a beginner. UKFS is much harder to use than the track that comes with the game itself. Don't install XTracks either, just use the basic track.

You do need to read Michael Vones book and follow his advice step by step, which you seem to be doing.

Adding more scenery to your route (putting the s and sd files in the routes SHAPES folder, their ace files in the TEXTURES folder and a reference to the model in the routes ref file) is all clearly explained in the Vone book.

How about posting some screenshots to show us all how things are going?

I have never done anything serious in the route editor but I found that UKFS is actually easier than the default track.

ok, some decent advice here.

Every question you have sofar asked, has been asked a million times before. So I seriously suggest rather than continually postings repeat questions, that will slowly bore us all to death and help will slowly fade out, that you use the Search button.

There are also entire sections of the forum DEDICATED to new route builders. There for the very reason that they always ask the same questions. Help for Beginners

Likewise for posting screenshots - How do I post screenshots

New to route building? there is a helpful thread right in this very forum section........ All newcomers to route building please read

Infact in the majority of forum sections here at UKTrainSim there is a 'Common questions' thread at the very top. You've already proven that your a quick reader and that your learning difficulty is minor so do yourself a favour and read whats already here. People arent sitting around waiting to help you...........

ps - You claimed to have completed sections A-J of the route building guide in one night. Section KL?M are all about building tunnels and sorting the terrain. Surely youve already covered these sections days ago.

To make holes in the terrain you press V while using the terrain tool and holding the cursor over the grid point you want to disappear.

you dont have to patronize me the reason i havent been able to read the klm sections is because i stayed over my mates house last night and on friday i was busy out down maidstone with my mum so i couldnt go on here.
why do you think i havent been able to post any messages the last few days?
when i press v to make a hole, the floor goes white and when i raise the terrain its all wonky and weird is there any way to make it straight and make all the terrain the same height.

Check of section M in the guide. There is a reason why thatss happening.....thats the way the MSTS terrain works.
