The MSTS 1 Route Editor can be a beast to use, but it's capable of some amazing results, here you can talk with the wizards that are building some of the fantastic routes available and learn how to make your own.
My first question would be to ask how close you are to the edge of the tiles? That's the only time I've seen that effect.
I'm more interested in finding out how you got the markers to work. Nothing I do seems to have any effect

There has been a lot of discussion in these forums over the years on Marker Files - I can not understand why you would not get these to work, the following is an excerpt from one of mine
As long as they are in the above format and in Unicode, and you have markers turned on in the menu of your Route Editor, then they should appear OK.
Format is:-
Marker (
Longitude (negative for west)
Latitude (negative for south)
Label for marker - Do not put spaces in this
0, 1 or 2 - Type of marker - 2 is the best one.
Note that the more decimal places in lat/long the better your accuracy. All the above fields must be there, you can not leave the label blank etc.

I'm not arguing (just explaining why I'm right).
Would the latitude/ longitude be actual off an OS map 60' to a degree or msts lingo where they use 100' to a degree

Thanks for the advice so far, guys. I tried to follow all the advice from a previous thread after a search. This is the marker file content I'm trying to use, constructed from the original S&C file and c&p here from the 'working' file:
All values are taken from Streetmap.co.uk's calculator under the relevant map.
When I open the Route in RE, and click on the 'Markers' menu entry, I get a short flicker of the screen and nothing else happens - and going back to the menu, the option is still unchecked.
The route is called 'Trent Valley', the folder name is the same, and the marker filename is 'Trent Valley.mkr'.
If I can get these working, then I can add more later to detail the locations and the route properly, but for the moment, I'm totally lost!
oh and Nick? what was your problem caused by?
