My problem is that I have built a route with a large river, done the DEM work and the water level is too low. Hence my river looks as if it is at 'low tide'

Tnx

Keep experimenting with the river height until the water looks right

You can set the water height for each corner of a 'water enabled' tile individually, which is a bit of a pain, but will cure your problem; I don't know if there's a 'global' method.

The global setting is sea level. Normally one would want that to be zero.

I've used the water height settings as described successfully. However, on a hilly route like mine it hasn't always worked so I have a stream/river transfer. Build the watercourse with road sections, add the transfers, then delete the road sections.

This is the sort of result I've got with transfers - it wouldn't have been possible to do this at all with adjusting the water level settings in RE.
