Heathrow Express, just need some nice 332's..........
Also Llandudno Junction to Blaenau Ffestiniog
London Liverpool Street - Cambridge (inc Suburban branches) given that the Great Eastern lines are being commercially produced.
Great Northern Suburban lines inc Finsbury Park-Moorgate (although could just as easily be extended onto MidEast......)
Paignton-Dartmouth would be a nice preserved one, steam isn't really my thing but this would be a definite exception, although I'd probably only run diesels on it..........
North Thameslink - Bedford-Moorgate/southern limit of OHL.

How about nottingham to skegness branch line ?

. As this would allow for charter trains, special run trains and the local trains operated by Central Trains

. But this is just an idea but also it could include a portion or the east coast mainline from Grantham so you could include GNER AI trains that you (the player train) have to wait for when crossing the ECML to Grantham from Skegness

. As the Nottingham - Skegness route goes under the ECML route (i think)

. Feedback and further comments is welcome on this branch line idea

.
cheers

I once tried this. Derby to Manchester Central to Derby, but after 17 failed attempts eventually gave up..

Keep those suggestions coming.
The reason I ask is that I am considering starting a new route, albeit a reasonably short one(unlikely to be more than 50 miles in length). My current project of GWML West will not be abandoned. That will have priority over my new route(should I decide to go ahead with one). But it's very likely that I will have fully completed the trackwork of that project some time before the terrain is completed by a helper, so it'll give me some time to spare. Getting started on a new route, will no means delay progression of the GWML West!
Also, I really want to start applying scenery to a route. Something I haven't done yet, over 18 months later after getting into route building! And it will be quite sometime yet before I can start adding scenery to my current route!
If I start a new route, I'll use DEM Data to get the terrain terraformed in 30 minutes flat. Then use TS Tools to plot the trackwork.
It's very unlikely I'll be doing a route which involves commencement from a London station due to the complexity of the trackwork involved. Not interested in Preserved railways either, due to the low speed limits.
But keep those suggestions coming in either for me, or anyone else who may be thinking about getting started on a new route. So mention any stations which involve commencement from London or preserved railways if you like.

I'm 'learning as I go' by trying to put together a version of the Nottingham/Newark/Grantham triangle using UKFS. If (and I stress IF, because I'm promising nothing - treat it as vapourware) it comes out anything like reasonable, it might make the basis of the Skegness route.
Oh, ashh888? it does go under the ECML at Barkston, just north of Grantham. MidEast is actually missing that part of the track because of the missing Nottingham line.
I might eventually try the Robin Hood from Nottingham to Worksop to tack into it.

The original Castleman Corkscrew from Brockenhurst to Bournemouth via Ringwood and Wimborne. If no one has done this by the time I have finished Merseyside Railways I might attempt this next.
