I would like to see Weymouth-Bournemouth, Weymouth- Yeovil-Castle Cary, Southampton - Salisbury , Didcot,Newbury and Southampton, give us something for us route starved southerners, I wonder why the southern and western regions are so under represented.

The Weymouth-Westbury, and Southampton-Salisbury(and beyond) will be available sometime in the not too distant future.

Any suggestions for other Southern routes?

The Uckfield-East Croydon line would be a nice little route. Though scope for activity creation would be a little limited though.

Umm.... maybe because they take up less of the country?
but ISTR London-Brighton, Southampton, GWML, Cambrian Coast, Bala, SVR, just off the top of my head, whereas we poor Easterners have the Manningtree branch and.... umm... and.... oh yes, the promised ex-GER Liverpool St. payware route.

Be nice to see Fenchurch Street -Tilbury-Southend if anyone's willing.

Hi

Look for Ruabon Barmouth, it already includes the Llangollen line, but lots of other stuff too!

I'd like to see more Southern based 3rd rail electric routes. As there's not enough of 'em at present.

A good route to give a Class 205 Thumper unit a good run I'd be well pleased at. And if I was to start a new route it would be something along these lines I think.

A few cross-country suggestions:

Some part of: Basingstoke, Reading, Didcot, Oxford, Banbury, Leamington Spa, Coventry, Birmingham, Derby and points north...

(Birmingham)-Wolverhampton-Shrewsbury

Hull & Barnsley railway?

At the risk of being howled down by modern image interests, why not the Hull and Barnsley railway over its whole length of about 50 miles, set in, say 1921/3, when you can mix H&BR, NE, LMS, LNER, GCR and L&Y.

I've just been reading their 1921 timetable (All stations keep Greenwich Time) and there are a couple of branches, lots of collieries (PO wagons galore) and an express service from Hull to Sheffield.

The railway had curious domeless locos, and some nice vintage carriages too.

Ah well, a pipe dream perhaps.
I see no reason to suppose that these machines will ever force themselves into general use - The Duke of Wellington on steam locomotives, 1825.
