Martin any chance of some decent shots of both boxes? as I'm building a library of signalbox photos.

ThamesClyde wrote:Jonathan would you like Hest Bank Signal Box modelling (the Type 15 in the photo's) and also if Martin would post some pictures of Bare Lane signal Box then I could turn my hand to that as well (its an LMS T11c design).

Right, I'll be visiting Hest Bank on Thursday, weather permitting. I can also detour to Bare Lane and get pics there!

No problem Jonathan, just like to see the right signalboxes and to help those out who aren't sure on the correct style of box.

Thanks for your help.

Does this mean that only Bare Lane shots are required?

Looks good but I notice on your version that one of the texture files isn't registering so I've checked the model and its something I've missed so I'll re -upload it and another thing, not a critisim but observations from experince, the box wants to be closer to the track, the locking room base is normally about 5-6 foot away from the rail head. One other thing the end of the box overlooking the road crossing is normally right up against the road, to give the "bobby" a good view of the traffic before he either swings his gates or lowers his barriers.......
