Hi all,
I have installed RRv5.0.23 and updated it to v5.0.31 but I have a problem. On starting the program I get a message Cant find Makeace.exe then Can't find utils\ffedit folder. They are both in the MSTS directory. After ignoring these messages I try to Check All Activities. After a couple of minutes of scanning the prog stops and I get "File in subroutine CountStock" followed by "Device unavailable" and finally the fatal "RunTime Error 86". Where am I going wrong. Help please.

Alan RR = Route Riter. lol
it sounds like your Route Riter is looking in the wrong place for the Utilities for Msts.
Did you uninstall RR before you installed Version 5.0.23 then upgraded ??

If RR can not find Makeace.exe etc, then either:-
1. Your MSTS is not fully installed, in which case you will need to install it again. (Check your Train Simulator\Utils folder and see if makeace.exe is in it and that there is also a sub-folder named FFEDIT)
If that is OK, then
2. Your Route_Riter registry entry has become corrupt. This can be fixed by running Regedit from the Start / Run box and going to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\Route_Riter
Right click on Route_Riter and select Delete.
Close Regedit and rerun Route_Riter, it should then start OK.
