Altering terrain heights in route editor

Post by bristolian »

Hi all. I've just terraformed my route, but due to inconsistencies in the lat/long coords, some of my terrain alongside the line needs to be altered, ie land made higher to form hills, and consequently have cuttings made.

Best wishes, Bob.

Back to the old method of pick, shovel and 100m straight by the sounds of it.

Go along the route selecting each piece of track in turn and press "Y". This will bring terrain up/down to track level.
Where you need a hill/valley lay 100m straight (or other favourite bit of track) and raise/lower it in increments to required elevation. Delete track piece and go through the route again "Y"ing the terrain.
