Check that the marker file has the unicode header line, ie:spinemaligna wrote:This must be catching.
I have 200 odd markers in a file in the route directory which I can open and the entries are OK. I can jump to the marker positions using MSTS Poker and end up in the right place. I cannot see them in RE and it doesn't allow me to tick the option in the View menu. It is a bare route (no track or objects placed yet) so I tried placing a random piece of track, still no markers. I have quit RE and re-opened and I have re-booted the PC. I have re-saved the start tile. I can see markers in other routes. I have run out of ideas. Anybody got any clues?
I see that too!pepsipowell wrote:I've noticed a similar problem, but not as bad, where sometimes if I have been editing for a while, the same set of markers (i.e. one tile) spills over and appears on every tile. Exiting and restarting seems to solve the problem, and it is usually fairly rare though.

An MSTS bug. The Highworth marker files did this to me once I had a decent sprinkling of objects on a few tiles. I can only suggest you fly the camera slowly (not in shift mode) and your markers should retain their ability to draw correctly for longer.qzdcg8 wrote:I see that too!pepsipowell wrote:I've noticed a similar problem, but not as bad, where sometimes if I have been editing for a while, the same set of markers (i.e. one tile) spills over and appears on every tile.
