OK, so here is the announcement that some of you may already have heard of. I apologise for the content of this thread to two members of these forums, and I suspect they will not be happy at all.
Anyway, I have come to make a decision on CE. It is the last one to be made now before I get my terrain.
I have decided to make CE on my own. This means the two members of the CE team will not have their route published under the CE name.
This is pretty much certain to piss them off, and I have to say I did not intend to do this.
Everyone already knows what CE stands to be in terms of route thus far, so I have no need to explain it.
Once again, I apologise for the news, but I feel it is necessary in order to make progress. Feel free to add what you think TSN and Pete.

Hey all,
Right, this news was what I had beeen thinking for some time. Creating 3 different routes which would link up and selling them raises some issues :
Will the profit (if any) be for say my work or Jules's?
Will someone have say put more work and not getting thaked as much?
By the time of completion will Microsoft Train Simulator 2 be out?
Those are just a few of them. Ongoing at teh 'Digital Rail Works' is the following :
Spring 2004 Releases :
Great Central Railway (Nottingham) : April 2004 (Alpha/Beta version sent to testers in March and previews released in March !)
Project : Notts Conection (Temp name, will change when expansion is set in stone) - Release Summer 2004 (ALpha/Beta versions only - more information released next month!)
Good luck Jules and Thanks for reading,
Nick

Further to private discussion with TSN, we feel the same way on the subject of CE. I admit it was surprising to hear that he was having the same idea!

This thread wasn't intended for just anyone to post stupid, irritating questions. You should respect the fact that I am building this route.
And no, I have three routes to build. S2P, H2P and C2M.

Lol. I guess the RE is punishment for anyone who loves trains...
I am certain all three will be released. H2P is my favourite route of all time. S2P is my new local line. C2M serves as a way to connect them both, and to go where no XC route has gone before!

with the practically no route building experience, ur starting out in the hopbby not by making a simply small route, but but making 3 routes. one of which is going to be probably the biggest seen in MSTS, another of which rivals with most large route in MSTS, and a 3rd that not many have ever heard of.
And since mid 2003 all of these route u have planned have been nothing more than topics on forums, vast numbers of incompleted 'under construction' websites, and research.
All u seem to ever do is dig ur own hole deeper and deeper, until a point which is now not far off, when people look at things u 'announce' and decided they couldnt care less as there dont think ANYTHING is going to happen on the route building front where ever ur concerned!
Who here is surprised or even bothered by this topic? im pretty sure less than a handful of people will batter an eyelid.

'jjules' projects :
Project H2P : Hereford to Paddington
Project C2M : Cardiff to Manchester
Project S2P : Swansea to Paddington
'TrainSimminNick's projects :
GCRN : Great Central Railway (Nottingham), 8mile line from Ruddington (South Nottingham) to East Leake.
Two routes are concept's at present. Deciding which one to make reality after my GCRN. Conclusion next month!
'Midland Mainline Man's projects :
MML : The Midland Main Line (Present Day). London St. Pancras to Sheffield via Nottingham
Hope this helps,
Nick

LucaZone, I posted this thread, only for TSN and petermakosch to read. I should have sent them this seperately, but I wanted all to know this anyway.
As I have already said elsewhere, and many times before, I've had PC problems, lack of information (and people who thought I wanted to be a terrorist) and many problems with MSTS. I now have terrain in the mail system as of tomorrow, and TSTools2 will be flying in from Germany soon. Maps are being found, and will be put together in PSP when I get that next weekend.
I assume you got the PM LucaZone...

The other was going to be my MML Route, which i still plan to make.
Although do not think about it any time soon.

He's got a point there, they have unbeliveable storylines like soapsdforrest wrote:No, you are wrong LucaZone. I enjoy Jules's route threads. They are the best entertainment since "Coronation Street".LucaZone wrote:Who here is surprised or even bothered by this topic? im pretty sure less than a handful of people will batter an eyelid.
