Looks great, but that roof ironwork badly needs some higher res textures.

Why? Trains racing through at 125MPH (or whatever the speed limit is down that way) would be a fantastic sight!

Actually that gives me a thought about MSTS2...

At that speed you might not see what set it is, or what number the locomotives are, but standing on a platform with it flying past you is thrilling...Mind you, so is sticking your head out of the window at that speed,mmm... :D

personally the sight of a steam loco doing 80-90+ mph would be much more exciting to my mind than a box on wheels doing 125mph, :D much more spectacle to it.

Hmm...A Class 180 Adelante, or a Class 220 Voyager, or a steam engine. Which would I prefer to see?

That depends a lot on which operator would be taking me to my destination. For Paddington, I'd have no choice but the Adelante there. A Voyager would be my first port of call if I was going up north.

As for the steam engine...If it was the Flying Scotsman pulling in, I'd grab my camera and snap away with pleasure. I would consider travelling on it, but it would also depend if I wanted to get to my destination today or next year...

As for watching any of them fly past...The Voyager tops my list, with the Adelante right behind it. The Flying Scotsman would be last, but only because I'm a modern-day train fan...If I had been around 50 years ago, I'd have preferred the Flying Scotsman hands down!

What's a Voyager. A boat or some kind of airship? Mark

Are you joking? Have you not heard of the Virgin Trains' Class 220 Voyager?

They are fantastic trains linking major population centres with relative speed...

Also, have you not seen the Voyager bashing going on about these forums?

Going back to the original post - it's great to see a station that I can recognise from real life. Look forward to seeing the route, with both steam AND modern day traction!
