The Official Man, makes the Official Route :)

The MSTS 1 Route Editor can be a beast to use, but it's capable of some amazing results, here you can talk with the wizards that are building some of the fantastic routes available and learn how to make your own.

Sounds good mate! It's looks like it could be quite fun to drive!

If I can find it, I'll upload a map of my Hereford to London Paddington route. Unless everyone knows the route, in which case I won't bother. Work on the trackwork on my route should start soon (it should have started by now, but then I am awaiting parts. I actually got one ordered today, even if it is a . 8MB graphics card, it'll get me started anyway)!

Let us know how you do with this route!

I agree with LucaZone, I can't wait to see who gets what done first! Updates from both parties will be eagerly awaited!

Here's a stupid question:

Where are you so far? Are you starting in Sheffield? Or have you done loads more already?

wait a sec. seems quite silly here that people are welcoming the competition and yet not to long ago everyone was up in arms about the potential waste of time and unfairness if 2 projects work on the same route.

confusion.

Sounds a bit like the old game of Railway Rivals, this race to build to Sheffield. 8)

If two people are looking to build the same lines, I don't see why they shouldn't both work on one, single, release instead of two separate routes.
Pan-South-Wales Route, anyone?

Time for TSN Comments :

Pete sound great :)

Is this for MSTS 1, if so there will be NO direct competition !

Mine will go to Notts then connect up the Robin Hood to MidEast UK's Worksop station !

His goes to Sheffield mine stops in Nottingham [though a link to sheffield would be a great idea !]

I can't too much but good luck Peter and you say its offical explain... :-?

Mine won't even start until MSTS 2 is out and I have it so this looks like agood route all the best if you want help just ask ! [Doesn't this remind you of MidEast Uk Vs. GNER Eastcoast ?]

And great map !, you draw that yourself ?
