West Coast Euston - Birmingham

Post by Horgy »

I started this a little while ago as a quasi-commercial project, but have moved on to better things.

At this point, I'm willing to release it to a person who I feel will continue and finish it. With the package you'll get...

Full Gradient Profile
Railtrack Midlands Zone scans of the entire route
TSTF source file
Terraformed Terrain from Euston to Watford
Camden Junction Track already layed (Finescale)
Markers for line

If your interested, post below..

This is a bodged picture of Camden Junction. It includes a Flyover, Underground sections, and underground turnouts. Took me 6 hours to build it!

WCML

I am intending to extend my Crewe to Liverpool route to Euston once I have finished the railways that I am building on Merseyside.

I have obtained gradient profiles and route diagrams of the whole route, but what I am missing is any real detail at the London end.

I would be grateful of you could send me what you have done. At the very least it looks like it may save me quite a bit of time and at best I may be able to use the tiles that you have already done.

Go buy the quail maps. Availible in Ian Allen Bookshops or from WHSMith if you have the ISBN.

Or alternatively, if you stop making an arse out of yourself i'll scan some of my Midlands Sectional Appendix ;)

So if this route was finished and when North West England is released, we only need Bham to Manchester ( I think... ) Any takers ;)?

When I first signed onto Trainsim I used the first part of my work email address, which is ccsdc. I do not know if I can change my logon name, I guess all I could do is set up another account.

I will stick with what I have as I use this logon for all my internet accounts - easy to remember.

Just call me Dave :D

I personally think that if someone DOES take up this route, it would be nice to extend it to Wolverhampton, since it is only 20 mins further down the line (though i do appreciate the difficulty of building New Street). Its also where a lot of the Euston trains terminate. Just a thought though...
