Crouch Valley Line

Hello,
For anyone thats interested I've just started building the Crouch Valley branch line which runs from Wickford to Southminster, Essex.

The line is only 16 and a half miles but its my first effort so i didn't want to over do it!

The line is a single track branch line (with a two track section at Fambridge) which escaped the axe in the 60's due to its proximity to Bradwell Nucleur power station.

Stations are Wickford, Battlesbridge, Woodham Ferrers, Fambridge, Althorne, Burnham on Crouch and Southminster.

It will be set in the Network SouthEast era of the 90's when the line was electrified.

Its just a practice route really with a chance to get used to building a route and making some models in GMAX.

However if it goes well I will start on a major project next.

The line is looking quite good so far with all the river crouch in place and most of the terrain sorted. Taking longer then i realised though.

If anyone is interested I will upload some pics soon.

Don't worry about the lack of apparent interest. Show some screenshots later and people will start taking notice. All too often people say they are starting projects and fail to produce the goods (me included I have to say ;) ) for one reason or another. Build your route, enjoy yourself in the process, and feel very smug indeed when you upload it. :)

Well considering I travel between Woodham Ferrers & LS everyday I would be very interested!

The above is quite right, Jim - go for it: the world needs more MSTS routes...!

Good luck (meant in the very genuine "I know what the Route Editor is like" way!)

I think everyone's gone to sleep at the moment. Certainly carry on and upload some pics. Would be good to see.
