I have established that it is definately Dynamic Track that is causing my problem, as I have laid track down to Severn Tunnel Junction, tile 6173+14929, without putting any dynamic track in and no problems.

I added one piece of Dynamic Track at Severn Tunnel Junction and the problem returned.

I have checked the Tsection.Dat file from my backup and see that it has all the details of the Dynamic Track for all of the world tiles, but after I lay my new piece of Dynamic Track and save etc. The Tsection.Dat file is only showing the new piece of Dynamic Track, it has lost all of my other Dynamic Track.

Any ideas please on what is causing this too happen??

Thanks in advance

Yes, I've done that without (touch wood) any problems as yet - plenty of other problems, but not that one! Still, about 32 miles of route still left to go!

I have found the problem, it was all to do with the Global/Tsection.dat file.
It was probably caused by me downloading some routes, which gave me the standardised global/Tsection.dat file and not having laid any new track for a long time on my route.

I noticed that the dynamic track reference number jumped to 40000 from 376 in the route/Tsection.dat file and only showed the latest dynamic track laid, as detailed above.

The solution was to run Xtracks "Horace" then rebuild track database and bingo problem solved, so after the many many lost hours I am now back to tracklaying, Chepstow to Severn Tunnel Junction already laid, now to start digging for the Severn Tunnel and hope I come up at Patchway.
