And also take into account the fact that Matt is not devoting time to UKTS now, due to his new job.

It will be there when it's there, and it can be enjoyed longer.

Good luck
Doug

No readme that I can find. I assume that all route files should be unzipped into the folder "Crosby_Valley_Railway" in the Routes folder.

Also, parts 3 and 4 of the route download contain the folder "texture" which should be "textures".

Just downloaded it and had a little explore, Very nice little route indeed, well impressed :D

It did ask for DR_BR_B12_61572 when I first loaded it, fortunately it is available in the download section, so I downloaded it and added it.

Nice route indeed, shame about the signaling though.....

What's up with the signalling? Can't see owt up with it.
I'm not a nit picker or a rivet counter, so unless there is something obviously wrong I wouldn't really notice it, but I have just had another look, and the signals seem to do everything they are supposed to do??
Maybe someone will enlighten me.
In the meantime I'll enjoy the route for the excellent route that it is, and appreciate the amount of effort and work that Dave has put into it for our enjoyment. :D

the signaling works fine as it is, but because msts is an a*s, having signals on single track sections and not just on double sections and loops makes it very hard to put any amount of AI traffic into an activity. Yes you can start AI trains in loops, but making them interact with the player train (ie you wait at a signal for the AI train) is nigh impossiable.

Yes I see what you were saying now, it may cause problems for activity writers :)

Hi
You could always do what I do when making activities, I put static trains at strategic places, mainly because I'm a complete numpty when trying to get AI traffic working.I only ever got one to work I can't remember how I did it.

Also you save on frame rates that way by using AI and static stock, with MSTS any way it's pointless being a rivet counter because it old now,I just welcome any thing new that comes along, and Dave makes some really good loco's.

There are not sufficent words in the english language to describe how good this route is, nor for the excellent B17!

My only regret is that it's a preserved line.

I hate crawling around at 25MPH. :(

Hi Ian,

Do what I do pretend it's not a preserved line, them you can run at whatever speed you like,I just knocked up a couple of activities for myself.
