Where Do I Start???

Hi everybody,

I'm seriously thinking about building my first route... the DLR. I open the Route Geography Extractor and I know that is the first step and I know how to use it but I don't know what tiles to select because the London area is so complex. Can you help me choose the tiles and get me started on my route? Please.

Hi James, your best way to start is to purchase the Route Building Guide by Michael Vone published by AbacusPub, use the link below to get to the site and click on the Train Simulation Tab at the top.
Then scroll down the screen and it's near the bottom in the left hand column, it costs $20.00 (£10.00) for a download version and all you have to do is print it out once they have sent it to your e-mail address.
Mind be warned it uses a lot of paper but you get a start route to play about with in the download.

I know how to build a route it's just I don't have a clue about what tiles on the map in the Geography Extractor to select. That's what basically asking.
