Since no one else has done this I'll offer congratulations to Tim Court and his contributors for the extension to Mideast UK.

I've just run Alan Salmon's test HST activity to see the route and the trackwork, objects, tunnels and especially King's Cross Station are fantastic. The Railway Magazine (October 2002) did a feature on "King's Cross and the Towns Line" with lots of pictures of the station and the sim version is very realistic. The lights must have been on late in the secret route builders castle!

Great job Tim!!

1st Question: If you push on to York, will you add a spur to the National Railway Museum so that we can run railtours with all of the old stock stored there, like the Rocket?

2nd Question: How big can a route get before it cripples the CPU?

I need to upgrade again because the wealth of objects in the built-up areas are dragging my FPS down as low as 5 and I never get over 12 at the best of times. I also know when an AI meet is coming because my display freezes for a few seconds just before the meet.

I particulary like the scenery around the London area that gives impression and atmosphere of a large town. ..good work. Was there ever a route which had planes flying through the air? I think I recall something about it.

Tim, any chance of a seperate download for the KC canopy?? It would make a great Liverpool Lime Street! (with your permission, of course!)

I would like to add my congratulations to those already made and just to say that I loaded up the Test Run with the HST and trundled off to Kings Cross. The additional stations etc en route were eyecatching enough but on emerging from the tunnel into K.C. itself, to quote a well known phrase, '' My flabber was absolutely ghasted '' :o

Well done Tim and all who assisted. A welcome addition to an already fantastic route. :D

Regards,
Alan

Kings X looks fantastic, but I would have liked to have seen Kings X signal box and re-fueling point added just to take me back to the 70's.
Thamks for a great route.

PS If Kings X looks great, can you imagine what York Station would look like, now thats a challange for Tim and the team. (please)

Excellent work Tim! Thanks for all your work.

On a separate note:
The Hoogdam route version 4.0 has rails in the air along while you can fly a Learjet.

Totally agree with everyone, route is amazing, I would like to see Peterbough track layout the same as goingnorths though as theres alot of scope for Ai trains to holdup your path, :D :D

How about all the way to Waverly?? Deltic stomping grounds. :D :D :D
